To change the password to your DVR/NVR first
1. Go to the TV or monitor the device is connected to and click on system info
2. Click on the Forgot Password box and if the device is connected to internet and added to
your EZVIZ account then you will receive a verification code through your registered email or
phone number
3. Type in the code and you will be prompted to create a new password
4. IF the device is not connected to internet OR not added to your EZVIZ account then you will
receive a different message
5. There are 2 different options to reset the password and this sole ly depends on the model of
your DVR/NVR
a. The first;
i. It will say to call our number for a secure code
ii. Click on OK an d you will see a long serial number with and empty secure code
box underneath
iii. Take a photo of the long serial number and email it to service@ezvizlife.com
b. The seconds;
i. There are 2 option to reset the password for the seconds prompt
ii. The first would be to type in the security questions if you know the answers
iii. The second would be the GUID option. There will be instructions on screen
about the GUID option
